Therearethreebasicwaysofremittanceforabanktotransferfundsforitsclientfromhomecountrytoabroad.Theyaremailtransfer(M/T,信匯),telegraphictransfer(T/T,電匯)anddemanddraft(D/D,票匯).M/T

M/TRemittancebyairmailtransfersfundsbymeansofapaymentorder,amailadvice,orsometimesadebitadviceissuedbyaremittingbank,attherequestoftheremitter.ItismoregenerallyknownasmailtransferorM/T.Apaymentorder,mailadviceorcreditadvice/pleasedebitadviceisanauthenticatedorderinwritingaddressedbyonebanktoanotherinstructingthelattertopayasumcertaininmoneytoaspecifiedpersonorabeneficiarynamedthereon.Remittancebycable/telex/SWIFT
