Therearedifferencesinthewaythelanguageisused.Ifthereisnogoodtranslation，itmaycausesomemisunderstandingsorcognitivedifferences.Filmtranslationconnectsthetwoaudiences.Therefore，filmtranslatorsarerequiredtonotonlypayattentiontotheartistry，butalsoconsiderthedifferencesbetweenEasternandWesterncultures，respectChineseculture，andrestoretheculturalcharacteristicsoftheoriginalfilmtothegreatestextent.

1Requirementsandparticularitiesoffilmtranslation

Thedifferencebetweenfilmtranslationandliterarytranslationisthatthefilmisacombinationofsoundandimage，sowhenwatchingamovie，theaudienceshouldpayattentiontothecharactersandplotwhilewatchingthetranslation.Filmtranslationshouldfocusontheneedsoftheaudience，andusecolloquialexpressionstocleartheaudience'sunderstandingofobstacles.Movietranslationispresentedintheformofsubtitles，soyouneedtoconsiderhowtosynchronizetheimageandsubtitles.Thisisagreatchallengefortranslatorsandtechnicians[1].
